My granddaughter and I went to Chadron to tour the college. So we stopped at Country Kitchen for lunch. I ordered the Crispy Bourbon Chicken Sandwich with Tater Tots, it had bacon on it, and was delicious. My granddaughter ordered the Avocado Jack Wrap with Tater Tots and she said it was very good. The sauce on the plates is Dorothy Lynch and really enhanced the Tater Tots.
We went back to this restaurant, and the food was still worth stopping for. This time, I posted the meal and dessert we had. Well worth the price for what you get. Stop bye and see what I am talking about. You will be happy, you did.
Went with the Bourbon steak and eggs. It was really good. Karli was my waitress and she was awesome. Does a great job ! Even recommended the State Park to me to check out. That I will do !
We had a large group in the back room and the service, food and everything thing was top notch. The manager went all out that created a very personal touch.
The biscuits and gravy were excellent, not soggy and very flavorful. Eggs cooked perfectly and the bacon is real bacon, not paper thin iHop bacon. Boysenberry syrup was great, not too sweet.
Pam was fabulous! We had the farm skillet and bacon avocado ranch omelette. Both were delicious and the side of pancakes were perfectly cooked. The coffee was good too.
The staff are fantastic!! That's the start. Our breakfast was served by Pam who was polite, friendly, chatty and left a very good impression.
As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by a very happy and friendly hostess (young lady with braided black hair). She told us we looked good today and cheerfully took us to our seats as she recommended the creme puffs. This young lady’s friendly greeting was the highlight of our whole dining experience. We wish there were more people like her around. Thank you! The food was good as well and we enjoyed all the positive plaques and decor around the restaurant.
We had a great breakfast, Karli was on the spot and took great care of us. Our was just as we ordered it and arrived quickly. The restaurant is huge inside and menu is equally huge! Everything was clean and neat. We would definitely eat here again.
